Do you know what my greatest guilty after my graduation? Maybe I missed my cumlaude? Or maybe I’m not good enough to be a successor on my organization? No, not at all. What I really regret is I didn’t join in TPA Mentari Ilmu as lecturer. If I think it again, I’m very glad to see children, telling story to them, teach them something new, or just play around with them. If I were an iqra lecturer there, I’ll get a reward every single hijaiyah I teach them and will be multiplied infinite times if they read qur’an and teach the others. Well then, it’s my greatest regret.
By the way, have you heard Bustanul Athfal?
It’s pre-school for children which using Islamic curriculum. The children are taught based on qur’an and sunnah from their teacher. I’d been there from 5-7 years old. I were on Busthanul Athfal Restu, in Malang—we called it BA Restu.
Well, I think I have to pay my regret for not being a lecturer on TPA when I’m on college. I have to get the reward that I used to ignore. I want to build Busthanul Athfal.
So, why BA? Because it’s the gate of life which determine good and bad way they go to. What children got from the past will be reflected when they grow up. We teach them how to have great attitude, how to treat the others, how to love all mankind, and how to protect their religion and create better world.
Imagine, if we could build many BA in each town instead conventional pre-school, Islam value will be spread even greater. It will teach not only the children, but also the parents. The children will influence and encourage their parents to know more about aqidah, fiqh, shirah, etc because they have home work or assignment which need to be helped with their parents. And at least, after all the knowledge we’ve embed into their heart, it’ll be easy for start the Islamic movement—the Islamic revolution.
About how to get start and how the strategies is still cloudy in my mind. Even my passion isn’t cross at the same point with this dream. But again, this is the dream I would fighting for.
